Use-case: SaaS tooling

Create a feedback widget with AI — deployed and live in minutes.

SaaS products that collect user feedback improve faster. But most founders do not want to pay €49/month for a feedback tool when they have fewer than 200 users. Völundr builds you a feedback widget and admin dashboard — your own software, running on your infrastructure, at the cost of a single one-time build.

What Völundr builds

Widget plus dashboard — complete feedback loop

Embeddable feedback button

A JavaScript snippet you add to your existing app. Opens a modal where users rate features, report bugs, or submit ideas. No third-party iframe — your domain, your data.

Admin inbox

Review all submitted feedback in a clean dashboard. Filter by type, date, or rating. Mark items as reviewed, in progress, or shipped.

Email digest (optional)

Get a daily or weekly digest of new feedback directly in your inbox. Describe this during intake and the Developer agent wires it automatically.

How it works

Three steps to a live feedback system

1

Describe your feedback needs

Tell the Analyst what feedback categories you need (bug reports, feature requests, general ratings), how users log in, and whether you want email notifications. Bring a screenshot of your existing app if helpful.

2

Agents build the widget and backend

The Developer agent writes a backend API, an embeddable JavaScript widget, and the admin dashboard. Tester validates that the widget submits correctly and the admin inbox updates in real time.

3

Embed and go live

Add one script tag to your existing app. Your feedback system is live — collecting submissions into your own database from day one.

Ownership

Your app is a real Docker container — not locked to our platform. Host it anywhere, export it any time.

Your user feedback is sensitive product intelligence. It lives in your PostgreSQL database — not in Canny, UserVoice, or any third party. When you want to move hosting, download the Docker ZIP and run it yourself.

Common questions

Does the widget work with any existing app?
Yes. The widget is a standalone JavaScript snippet served from your Docker container. It works in any web app regardless of the frontend framework — React, Vue, plain HTML, or anything else. You paste one script tag and the feedback button appears.
Can users attach screenshots to feedback?
Yes — describe this during intake. The Developer agent adds file upload support to the widget (limited to images) and stores attachments in the container's volume. Mention it and it will be included.
